Rods & Blinds is a family-owned business proudly based in Hamilton, right in the heart of the Waikato. About Us
We began our journey back in 1994, crafting beautiful cedar venetian blinds and traditional wooden curtain rods.
What started as a humble father-and-son artisan workshop—founded on good old-fashioned service—has quietly grown into a team of skilled
master craftsmen (and yes, craftswomen too!) who share our dedication and values.
We're incredibly passionate about what we do. Every blind and curtain rod is handmade with care using time-honoured techniques, then individually hand-finished, thoroughly checked, carefully packed, and couriered directly to your door.
Although our base is in Hamilton and Cambridge, our blinds have found homes all across New Zealand—from
Auckland to Queenstown, Wellington to Christchurch, and just about everywhere in between.
Our signature long brown boxes have travelled by road, rail, ferry (hello Waiheke and Stewart Island!), and even
by helicopter to a high-end lodge nestled in the Southern Alps.
We never forget that our business is built around one thing—you, our customer.
