The Easy-Fit curtain track system is a high-quality, sturdy, hand-operated curtain track designed for New Zealand homes. Available in eight stunning colours, this premium aluminium curtain track is manufactured in New Zealand to the highest standards under licence from our European partner and is custom cut to your exact size.
Please note: This is not a poor-quality extendable curtain track commonly sold through retail stores. Each Easy-Fit curtain track is precision cut to measurement and supplied complete with all brackets, correct fixing screws, gliders, and end stops—everything required to securely install your curtains.
Ideal for hanging curtains of any weight in domestic applications, the Easy-Fit track is made from high tensile aluminium and is backed by a full three year warranty for long-term peace of mind.
Tracks up to 3.3 metres are supplied in one continuous length to ensure a clean, seamless finish. For longer spans, the curtain track may be supplied in two sections and joined using our discreet invisible joining bridge, allowing curtains to glide smoothly from end to end without interruption. If you require a single continuous curtain track longer than 3.3 metres, please contact us prior to ordering and we’ll be happy to assist.

Measuring Guide
- How do I measure for curtain rods and tracks?
Measuring an Existing Curtain Rod or Track
If you already have a curtain rod or curtain track installed, measuring is simple. Measure the total length of the rod or track from end to end, excluding any decorative finials. This measurement gives you the exact length required when ordering replacement curtain rods or tracks in New Zealand.
Step-by-Step Guide: Measuring for New Curtain Rods & Tracks
- Step 1: Measure the window recess width, shown as (A). This is the internal width of the window opening. Record this measurement accurately.
- Step 2: Measure the space on each side of the window recess, shown as (B) and (C). These extensions allow curtains to stack clear of the glass and maximise natural light. Typically, allow between 150mm and 350mm on each side. As a guide, a 2000mm window should have at least 200mm each side, while a 3000mm window should have at least 300mm each side. For heavy or blockout curtains, allow additional clearance.
- Step 3: Add the three measurements together to calculate the required curtain rod or track length. Formula: (B) + (A) + (C) = Total rod or track length.
Once you have calculated the correct curtain rod or track length, you’re ready to start shopping with confidence, knowing your measurements are accurate and suited to your New Zealand home.
Note: Curtain rod lengths do not include finials. Finial lengths vary by design and are listed individually in the specification tab under each finial.
Handy Measuring Hints
- All our custom curtain tracks and curtain rods are manufactured to your exact measurements for a precise fit.
- When measuring, it’s best to have someone hold the other end of the tape measure, as even metal tape measures can bend or drop when fully extended.
- All curtain track and rod measurements are shown in millimetres (mm).
- If space is limited on either side of the window, choosing a smaller finial may be more suitable. Finial lengths are listed in the finial section under the specification tab. As always, measure twice for accuracy.

I wanted to give myself a few weeks of using my new curtain tracks to ensure my feedback was accurate. Honestly they have been fantastic. The level of customer service offered was amazing - there is a real person available to talk through your needs. The actual tracks work so darn well - it's shocking how much better than. I have heavy full-length curtains that need to go around a curve in my bedroom and they glide over the track like butter. Previously, I was having to get up on a chair to encourage the curtain along the track and the plastic bits kept snapping off. If you're on the fence about it, this is a great investment, easy to install, very secure and a good range of colours.

I ordered some curtain tracks and was a bit worried when I saw the brackets were plastic, but they are sturdy. I love the click in system that attaches the track to the brackets. Makes installation so easy and quick. The tracks look sleek and the brackets are barely noticeable which gives a clean look. The sliders run very smoothly. The only negative thing that I would say is that it would have been a help to me to have been informed that my payment for my order I had put in a few weeks back hadn't gone through.
