The Ultimate 5 Graphite brings the bold drama of black decor into your home and brings the sunshine with it, thanks to its special open fabric that allows light to pour through. Your daytime privacy is unaffected too, so there's no need to worry about prying eyes outside.
Measuring Guide
- Which way should my blinds roll?
There are two ways your roller blinds may roll - either front roll or back roll.
Front Roll
This is where the fabric rolls off the front of the blind. This is the usual way a blind will roll when it is fitted inside the frame. We recommend this way for nearly all applications - especially if your window has aluminium window joinery.
Back Roll
This is where the blind rolls off the back of the blind. This is the usual way a blind will roll when it is exact or fitted on the outside of the frame. - My window is wider than the maximum width?
This is quite a common problem. Your window will require two blinds. Please contact us or phone us on 0800 763 748 so we can discuss the best options with you.
- Can we link roller blinds in the same window?
Yes, it is possible to link blinds in the same window. Please see specific questions below and refer to our linked blind page.
FAQs
- How long will my order take to be delivered?
We usually take between seven to twelve working days to process orders for sunscreen blinds, blackout roller blinds, venetian blinds, curtain rods and tracks and ready made curtains. If there is a delay ,you will be notified at time of placing your order. If you require your order by a certain date, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline.
On our Easy-Fit curtain track range , we have same day dispatch on your order. As long as we receive your order by 1pm it will be dispathed that day . Delivery is usually the next day for most North Island customers and three days for most of the South Island. Our three day dispatch blinds will be sent within three working days.

Ultimate 5 Sunscreen Blind Range
I was very impressed with the way the binds were wrapped/protected for shipping. I had no issues installing them, all measurements were exact.
The only comment I would make with the instructions would be a note for a small square drive bit in your screwdriver and maybe use a kitchen knife or steel rule to depress the spring pin end to slide into the bracket.
I think the only way to ever remove a blind would be to unscrew one of the brackets. There is no room to depress the pin to release the blind.

2 orders in the last two months, first took almost 1 month to ship, the second 4 days because I called and chased it up when it showed "small delays to your order".

We are thrilled with the customer service and great communication.
The blinds were super easy to install and fitted perfectly.
The only disappointing things was the colour. We have ordered pearl white sunscreen roller blind and it was indeed white but once we hung them up they looked beige from the inside and white from the outside so the colour doesnt go well with our interior design.

First the bad news, but please read to the end. Told 3 working days till dispatch but took twice that and they then attempted to courier the blinds instead of letting me pick up as arranged. HOWEVER, build quality is excellent and I’m very happy with the materials, finish and price. Great range of colours compared to most blind manufacturers and the gentleman who helped me chose colours / styles did a great job. So overall very happy. Thanks.

Uniview Blind looks great, fits perfectly, and does a great job of increasing privacy within our lounge while not blocking the view. Easy to put up, just had to get the screws, which were easy to find at local hardware store.

I am very happy with my sunscreen blinds! The whole process from requesting fabric samples through ordering to installing the blinds was extremely simple. You can customise just about every detail of your blinds, and the website guides you through the ordering process. And the blinds are beautiful! They're well made, have a clean, contemporary look and are super easy to install - all you need is a drill and a screwdriver. And on top of that they're also very well priced. I will definitely be ordering more for other rooms.

This is the third time we have ordered sun screen blinds, and each time they have been excellent quality. Price is on par with off the shelf products from the big stores but with the advantage of fitting perfectly.
The website is easy to use and gives good measuring guides, the best bit is the communication from the team as to progress of your blinds, although this order was impacted due to COVID issues this was communicated to us.
Overall a great product and an easy company to deal with.

Love my blind, only one came out of the 2 ordered and that wasnt well communicated but when I called through the customer service was great. Only complaint was no guidance on how to install the blind - Managed to work it out with a bit of guesswork and a look online though, LOVE my kitchen blind and looking forward to receiving my bedroom one

Thank you go the team from Rods and Blinds for the most fantastic customer service I have ever received. Huge statement but it is so true!!!!! They bent over backwards to help me when I made a mistake. This is the second time in one month I have ordered blinds and a curtain rod.
Great quality products and they cost more at other blind stores. Cheaper than ready made blinds in the shops and much better quality. Couldn't ask for more, I will certainly use them again, told my friends about, I have no hesitations recommending them. Again thank you Rods and Blinds :)
Ultimate 5 Sunscreen Blind Range
We found that the updates re blind process through the factory useful, this allowed one of us to be at home for the delivery, we also found that the web page was easy to use and place our order.
Blinds are now fitted and look superb, quality of the fabric is excellent and price is not much more than you would pay for ready made blinds at the likes of Spotlight. They are definitely worth the small extra cost, given that they fit perfectly in and over the windows.
we would not hesitate to recommend Rods and blinds to anyone and now know where to come in the future. It feels that the customer is cared for and the level of customer service so far is a lesson to all.
